Trying to use Gnokii and Gammu with the T610.
Gnokii 0.6.0 can't read the phonebook because of some encoding issues. I sent out a patch to fix encoding issues in 0.6.0 so that now it works with the T610.
Gammu also has issues: one needs to do an ATZ first. Here is a patch against Gammu 0.93.0 to make the T610 work.
I am starting to wonder if it's not a Linux problem though as I manage to crash Linux while talking to the phone with the USB cable...
I found Hacking the T616 in Python which does the trick. I wrote a patch for t616hack to add iso-8859-1 support and fix a couple of bugs I stumble upon. See also JpilotToGnokii for transferring your Palm data to you T610.
