Catch Betty is a band from Massachusetts. I discovered them by chance when they were playing outdoors in the rain several weeks earlier. Digression: I had also "seen" Duran Duran at that time, but I can't really say that I went to the concert because I just watched them play one song. I am not a Duran Duran fan. I just appreciate a few songs, and I was lucky enough to listen to this one while walking around.
Anyway, I had bought their 4-track CD called Curve and I really liked the songs on it. So when I saw that they were playing in Harvard Square, I decided to go.
The concert was divided into two parts. First, the main character of the band, Barbara Lee Supeno, played the guitar and sang with one (cute) chorist.
Then the chorist quit the stage and the guitarist, bassist and drummer joined Barbara Lee Supeno and began the electric part of the concert. It was a good performance, in front of something like 100 people.
